Virtual & In Person Medicine

Our physicians provide virtual care via telephone and video appointments when appropriate. We are booking mostly in person appointments to ensure you get optimal care. If you are scheduled for a virtual video visit please open the link sent from Telus a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time. While we endeavour to be on time, we ask for your patience. Sometimes we are running behind owing to other urgent patient care. Stay in the video room and we will join you just as soon as we can.

Please note: The clinic remains open everyday to pre-booked appointments which currently include adult health exams, prenatal and well baby/child appointments. Unfortunately at this time, no walk-in appointments are being accommodated. We ask that only the patient/s attend for any in-person appointments. Essential caregivers are permitted to attend and will be asked to complete a Covid pre-screening questionnaire. Virtual visits on a limited basis can be booked on-line using the link below. If you need to schedule a visit you can always call us. One of our staff will return your call on the same day if you indicate that you need a same day appointment. If you do have an in office appointment we require you to wear a medical grade/surgical mask . Your mask must be worn at all times during the visit unless an exam of your nose or throat is required . The guidance on self-isolation for a minimum of 5 days has been changed as of August 31/2022. Meanwhile, please swab yourself using deep nasal and mouth/oropharynx technique with a RAT test if you have symptoms or a significant exposure. Test on more than 1 day if the first test is negative, as RAT tests are less sensitive with the Omicron variant. If you are a higher risk person, either because of age, immune system issues, or other health conditions, please consider going to a Covid Assessment Centre for a PCR test, so we can understand if you qualify for anti-viral treatments. THANKS

Family Medicine Services

Preventative Care

The term “routine physical” is what many have come to expect on an annual basis. However, studies have shown that a traditional, head-to-toe physical does not lower your risk of illness or injury. What is recommended is a health visit that focuses on preventative and wellness care.

Prenatal Care

Drs. Audrey Karlinsky and Valerie Anderson both have a special interest in low risk obstetrics and will provide comprehensive care for you and your baby before, during and after your pregnancy.  Dr.Anderson delivers at the Mount Sinai Hospital Women’s and Babies Unit. Dr. Karlinsky currently provides ante-natal and post-natal care. .

Well-Baby & Childhood Immunizations

Routine visits from birth to 18 months are recommended so that your family physician can discuss your baby's growth, development and vaccines. These appointments generally follow the Ontario Routine Immunization Schedule.

After Hours Care

From 5 to 8pm there is a physician available via telephone to help with any urgent health concerns and questions.

Please call the clinic and listen to the voice message in order to be able to access this service.
