Please go to our website (www.bellairfamilypractice.com) and pay online for the Block fee if you so choose. If you prefer to pay over the phone, you can call us with your credit card information. As you know, many medical services are not covered by OHIP including notes for work, prescription renewals without an appointment and insurance notes (for massage therapy, physiotherapy etc). You can choose to pay for individual services or pay a flat fee for those services covered by the block fee. Those who choose the Block Fee option will have access to secure two-way email communication for the year.
Be assured that your choice will not jeopardize your care in any way. The Block Fee is for the period of Dec.1, 2023 to Nov 30, 2024.

Our secure communication and booking portal, Pomelo, can be accessed at https://portal.healthmyself.net/BedfordFHO/me#/ This secure email system ensures we can share personal health information without compromising your privacy. It also allows you to book some appointments online. We continue to self-fund the enhanced Telus Virtual Visit video technology, and the Pomelo portal, to ensure you have reliable access to us.
Our office is running smoothly with a team of exceptional staff. We are proud of the work they do each day to answer your calls and emails and assist you with appointment scheduling and referrals. We urge you to make an appointment if you think you are due for any screening tests, such as: colon cancer check (FIT test), breast cancer screening, (mammogram), cervical cancer (pap test) screening, osteoporosis screening (bone density test), lab work or vaccinations.
Our family health organization provides access to one of our 12 Family Health Organization physicians for urgent matters Monday to Thursday evenings from 5-8 pm and on now on Saturdays from 9 am-3 pm.
Please do not use walk-in clinics, including virtual walk-in clinics; the care you receive is not shared with us and thus impacts our ability to be fully aware of your health issues. As a patient enrolled in our Family Health Organization, the Ministry of Health will deduct the cost of your walk-in visit against our clinic. We will continue to do our utmost to provide you with timely care, with a full knowledge of your health history, shared via our secure electronic medical records system across our connected clinics.
